Daycare for children

The Student Council is a service industry in service of the community and bearer of the University Daycare Centre. In this way we support the students with toddlers and infants. The KiTa is an institution whose goal it is to offer the possibility of family-orientated education, supporting parents and children aged between six months and three years. Students have the possibility to carry on with their studies or finish scientific education. The KiTa supports women, especially single mothers, by adapting the opening hours to student life, by offering afternoon care for the children, offering meals to the youngsters, and by educating the little ones on a modern pedagogy basis, developing the child as a person with body, mind and soul.

To optimise the conditions at the KiTa is of great importance to us. The interests of parents and educational standards influences our doings, especially the interests of student-parents, enabling them to combine studies and parenting. We understand the special needs of student parents and do our best to support them. KiTa parents often origin from different countries and cultures, making the integration of cultures one of our duties. We support the development of honesty and tolerance among parents ad children. For parents the KiTa is a place where they can meet other parents, build social contacts and find support in the new surroundings. The living conditions of all parents and children are respected at the KiTa
