Liability insurance

You are liable for all damages caused by you (or your children, your horse, your dog...). in extreme cases you may need to pay thousands of Euros, and you are obliged by law to do so. You are obliged to come up for all costs caused through damage by you to a third party. This means you must use all your assets to cover the costs for the damages caused by yourself. The liability insurance cover these costs and thus is one of the most important insurances to have.

The liability insurance is divided into many sections. Different section are interesting for different groups of persons.  A liability insurance package exists for eg. drivers, companies families, animals, surfers, sailors, property owners, oil tank owners, builders, hunters, and so the list carries on...

Liability insurance also covers certain legal costs, for example if you are falsely accused of causing damages. Your partner and children may also be covered by your insurance as long as the children are still studying or not married.
