Lets start with the Lahn, a beautiful river where you can hire pedal boats or simply take a walk along the river banks. The castle can be reached by medieval foot ways, and once you reach the top the view over the city is priceless.
Many of the villiages surrounding Marburg dates back to medieval times, here you can experience villiage life, and even view the older generation still wearing traditional German dresses.
Sport fans need not bore themselves in Marburg. You can swim at Aquamar, cycle,play golf, do horse-riding, practice water-skiing, wake-boarding and canoe along the Lahn. Hikers will enjoy the many well marked hiking trails including trails through the forests of Marburg.
