Housing for physically disabled students
The city of Marburg wishes to integrate physically disabled students in the community and the city. The Konrad-Biesalski-House, was found in the sixties, a special hostel for handicapped students. The hostel is amidst other hostels, situated close to the castle. The body corporate is the Student Council (institution under public law.)
One three room apartment and 77 from 78 rooms are built specially for students with physicall disability. Should they need help, they need only call one of the nurses. To support the integraton of handicapped students at least one third of the rooms are housing non-disabled students.
We have a team of nurses taking care of the students around the clock. A transport service transports the students to the university, cultural events, shopping, canteens etc. Physiotherapy can be taken, and there is the possibility to make use of the movement pool and message pool.
Please make sure to hand in your application in time!
